How is the pandemic affecting School

Our new normal is just that our normal. Mask wearing, hand washing, social distancing it is just a way of life. I am noticing with my grandsons that it is just something that they are use to now. They just accept that this is the way of life. Never have I had an issue with them wearing their masks out in public and in school.
Our school district is doing something called hybrid school. So they are closed every Monday for cleaning and then the kids are split into two groups green and white one group goes to school two days a week the other group the other two and then on the days they are home they are doing what is called "remote" learning. What our school is doing is using paper packets and google classroom to supplement. This is the best we can do in this trying time but it is also very difficult on them. When kids are home they want to just be home and be kids they don't want to be in school at home so to get them to take it seriously can be an issue.
My advice to you all is set a specific time for your remote learning. My boys go to bed like it is a regular school day they wake up early and have breakfast like normal and then we start school work. We take a break for lunch and then they return to finish what they may not of done.
Is this the perfect situation, heck no but it allows them to at least get some structure in school and remain safe.
Avon has been a blessing too because we have the personal care items for this pandemic, masks, hand sanitizer etc.   We also offer our business model for free currently to help people earn an income from home. It's the best of both worlds. Find out more information on my web site.

In 1886, 34 years before women in the U.S. earned the right to vote, Avon's founder, David H. McConnell, helped give them the chance to earn an independent income. He didn’t set out to create a beauty company. In fact, McConnell was a traveling book salesperson who offered fragrances samples as an additional perk to his female customers. He saw that these women were more interested in the free perfume than the books. Since women had a passion for his products and loved networking with other women, McConnell was inspired to recruit them as Sales Representatives. From a small New York City office, McConnell himself mixed the company's first fragrances. This began Avon's long history of empowering women around the globe. 95 Years before the first woman was appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court ... 77 Years before the first woman traveled into space ... 76 Years before the first woman took the reins of a Fortune 500 company ... 34 Years before women in the U.S. had the rig...

Potty training as a Grandparent As if raising another family after you have "been there done that" isn't enough, we are now faced with, you would think would be much easier. I mean we have experience right?  WRONG I seem to remember potty training my own three children was pretty easy. Just put them in underwear and set a timer and put them on the toilet and they just got it.  Kids now a days seem to have so many distractions whether it be TV, electronics etc.  When I started to potty train our now 4 year old grandson I looked at a lot of websites I mean we didn't have google to use when we had our kids. There was so much advice and people who claimed if you followed their directions you could potty train in three days. These people have not met my grandsons. I fell into the hype and purchased a Potty Watch. This watch has a timer that you set and when it goes off the child is supposed to go to the bathroom. Here is the thing, the watch doesn't work when the chi...
